Winter Berry Syrup

Winter Berry Syrup

Made with the Hungry Artisan Premium Food Mill (Ultra-Fine Disc)

⭐ Why this recipe works:

Winter berries (fresh or frozen) transform into a restaurant-quality syrup when passed through your Premium Food Mill's ultra-fine disc.
No seeds. No skins. No straining.
Just smooth, glossy berry perfection.

🍓 Ingredients:

  • 3 cups mixed berries (fresh or frozen: raspberries, blueberries, strawberries)

  • ½ cup sugar (adjust to taste)

  • 1–2 tbsp lemon juice

  • ¼ cup water

  • Optional: orange zest or cinnamon stick for winter flavor

Tools Needed:

  • Hungry Artisan Premium Food Mill (Ultra-Fine Disc)

  • Small saucepan

  • Mason jar or bottle for storage

Instructions:

1. Simmer the berries

Add berries, sugar, water, and optional flavors to a saucepan.
Heat on medium for 8–10 minutes until berries soften and release juices.

2. Mill the mixture

Run the HOT mixture through your Premium Food Mill fitted with the ultra-fine disc.
This removes seeds + skins, leaving you with a completely smooth berry puree.

3. Reduce to syrup

Return the milled mixture to the pot.
Simmer 3–5 minutes until thickened to your preferred consistency.

4. Finish + store

Stir in lemon juice.
Cool, then pour into a clean jar or bottle.

Keeps 2 weeks in the fridge or freeze up to 3 months.
