Ingredients

5 cups chopped carrots

1 cup water

1 cup apple cider vinegar

½ cup pure maple syrup

¼ cup brown sugar

1 medium apple, peeled & diced

2 tbsp fresh grated ginger

1 tsp mustard seeds
-
½ tsp turmeric (for color + antioxidants)

1 tsp salt

Zest of 1 lemon

½ cup finely chopped dried cranberries (optional but excellent for Thanksgiving)
🔧 Instructions
1. Cook the Carrots
Simmer chopped carrots in 1 cup of water for 10–12 minutes until soft.
2. Mill for Texture

3. Make the Relish
In a pot, combine:
